Before removing your data, it helps to understand what RocketReach typically collects:

What you need before you start

Step 1 - Go to the RocketReach opt-out page

Step 2 - Enter your details

On the opt-out page you will see a form asking for:

• Your email address (this is where the verification link will be sent)
• Your full name
• Your LinkedIn profile URL or RocketReach profile URL

How to find your RocketReach profile URL: Search Google for your name followed by "rocketreach", for example *John Smith rocketreach*. Your profile listing will appear in the results. Copy that URL and paste it into the form.

Once all fields are complete, click Submit Request.

Step 3 - Check your email for the verification link

RocketReach will send a verification email to the address you provided. The email arrives within a few minutes and contains a link labeled View or Remove Profile or Claim Profile.

Important: The verification link expires quickly, typically within 24 hours. Act on it as soon as the email arrives.

Check your spam or promotions folder if the email does not appear within 5 minutes. Click the verification link to proceed.

Step 4 - Reach the profile management screen

After clicking the verification link you will be taken to a profile management page. RocketReach may ask you to update your job title and company name.

Do not fill in any profile fields. Entering information here updates your profile rather than removing it.

Scroll to the bottom of the page. You will see a button labeled Remove My Profile. Click it.

Step 5 - Enter your removal reason

RocketReach will ask you to provide a reason for the removal request. Keep it simple and direct:

Step 6 - Save the confirmation

After 3 to 4 days, search your name on Google combined with "rocketreach" to confirm the profile no longer appears.

If the Google listing still appears after 72 hours, submit a Google deindexing request for the specific URL at search.google.com/search-console/remove-outdated-content.
